Luke Taylor, the Liberal Democrat MP for Sutton and Cheam, has launched a Summer Health Survey for residents of Sutton, Cheam and Worcester Park.

The survey encourages residents to share their experiences using local healthcare services - from GPs to hospitals and much more - with the MP.

It comes as Luke Taylor MP has confirmed he will continue making fixing local healthcare one of his top priorities as he enters his second year in office.

Luke Taylor MP said:

“When I speak to people across our community, it is clear that the state of our healthcare system is their top priority. So many of us are worried that accessing the care we need when we need it is not something we can take for granted anymore.

“From crumbling St Helier hospital to the crisis in hospice funding - there is so much that the government could be doing to speed up the recovery of our local healthcare system after years of failure under the Conservatives. But thus far, they have not delivered it.

“I am launching this survey to give residents a chance to make their voices heard. Too often we talk about healthcare in abstractions - focusing on patient numbers and statistics, rather than the lived experiences of people who are using the system.

“I've been campaigning on these issues since my very first day as your MP - working hard to get the solutions we need.

“But I want to hear from you about your experiences - so I can continue to build the case for the investment our local healthcare services need.

“I encourage everyone in Sutton, Cheam and Worcester Park to fill out my survey today”
